This post has real nourishment for most Americans – Democrats, real Republicans and the increasing number of Americans who believe that big outcomes are shaped by massive right wing, left wing or Russian conspiracies.  There’s a good chance that Donald Trump will be impeached, tried and removed from office.

TrumpDemocrats, how many times during the primary season did you say “I’d rather Trump than Ted Cruz” or pick your own ideological right wing nightmare.  Because based on the first 70 years of Trump’s life and his campaign statements, that’s not what a Trump presidency promised.

Republicans, for the same reason, how many times during the campaign did you say “I want Cruz or another conservative – Trump’s not one – no Never Trump.”  To a bipartisan majority, Trump seemed to be engaged in promoting his brand or expected new television network.  He never really seemed to want to win.

CruzHowever, each time Trump said or did something that killed any chance of winning – seemingly on purpose, he rebounded or the effect was the opposite in a Chauncey Gardner way.  Trump is likely to be removed from office for fill in the blank. While the transition has not yet disclosed fully realized acts of “Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors,” there certainly are subject areas where the last three of those bases for impeachment may and likely will arise.  Consider that on January 20, 2017, Mr. Trump will swear or affirm to “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States” having never read it and proposed ignoring or violating it in two clear and distinct ways in the matter of penalties for flag burners.  Constitution law scholars and classes are already debating whether Trump will be in violation of the Constitution’s emolument clause the day he takes office.

PenceThe Republican Party that then will be in complete power doesn’t like and never wanted Trump.  It is expected that at some point articles of impeachment will be introduced and eventually result in Mike Pence’s ascendancy – an outcome that the vast majority of Republicans will not only applaud but in truth like a whole lot more than a Trump presidency or a nasty and mean spirited Cruz administration.

And Democrats – they will see their worst nightmare realized – even worse than the one they are living through right now.
